thanks to everyone for great support and encouragement so far..
the album water is selling well and new song 'make it through' was included on the album 'out of connemara' by rolf brand and the stokes due for release soon in ireland. a successful couple of tours of germany taking in the irish rover hamburg, the shamrock kassel, the old dubliner luneburg and harburg and the guys in zweibrucken with 4piece conas (fionn conneely on percussion,gerry murphy on flute, john murphy on banjo and mandolin) resulted in a recording at the eagles nest studio entitled 'the sunset yellow sessions' available contact aidanward.comAThotmaildotcom the live radio shows on connemara community radio continued over the summer co-hosted by poet john dunne who has recently published a volume of poems 'moments in time' worth checking out. the show featured several musicians poets and songwriters and continues on tuesdays 6-7pm with john hosting. a couple of guest appearances in grand rapids michigan were great craic and a video appeared on youtube featuring a duo with songwriter dave westermann. plans for a new album 'stones' are in place and will hopefully be due for release next year. upcoming gigs are listed on the site and hope to see ye all somewhere soon aidan
